You are called to be Holy:

You are called to be Holy:

Aspired to inspire, a representative of the TVC Children’s Ministry, Minister Gift Mukisa under the authority of her father in the Lord took position at the pulpit. Equipped with an encouraging message from the Practising The Truth divine book she led the believers to day 6 titled, “What your soul possesses is what drives your life”

She encouraged the believers to always have the seeds of the Holy Spirit because what is in your soul is what will dominate and influence you. Having joy and peace is an indication that the Holy Spirit is with you and you will make the right prayer as per the Will of God.

However when you are filled with anger and worry that means satan and his agents have dominated you and you will not be able to make theright prayer before the Lord.

“Keep your heart pure for it is the prayer room of the Holy Spirit, that is where He rests when He comes,” the minister advised the believers summing up the encouraging message.

From that encouraging message, the Prophet of God, Abraham Richard Bisaso took his position at the pulpit and led the believers into the message of the day titled, “You are called to be Holy.”

With reference from the book of Colossians 3:12-13: 12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso said that Christ Jesus’ mission of saving you from the world into His way is to make you Holy. This can be attained by doing righteous deeds such as acts of love and being merciful. As a Christian if you have no room for forgiveness, you do not know God and you can never be like Him.

Let this festive season be a time of reconciling with God, being merciful and asking Him to bless you.  Accept Christ Jesus to dress you with a new character- His character.

Look for someone in need and share the little or much you have, make a difference in someone else’s life. You should always strive to make a difference in someone else’s life in any way that you can as a Christian.

The Servant of God revealed that there is no better prayer than loving your neighbour. Care for your neigbour, get to know how they are doing and help them. He emphasised that the life you live, do not desire to be on the receiving side only but also learn to care and love people.

Prove to God that you want to be like Him by giving charity, love, compassion, kindness as the Word of God has told using Colossians 3:12. This is because a Christian is known by his works of love.

Summing up the message, the Prophet remarked, “Heaven is not looking for numbers but for one man that is willing to care and love others. If you study the entire Bible it will lead you to what I am saying.”

Understanding the Word of God is not about hearing it alone, it is about putting it in action and living it. After delivering the message of the day, Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso put the Word of God in action.

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit he shared with a number of congregants what the Lord had supplied to him; with those who did not have what to eat on Christmas.

You too, whatever you have, it does not matter how small or big it is, what matters is the Spirit behind it. SHARE WITH SOMEONE TODAY.
