“The Widow’s secret.”

“The Widow’s secret.”

Every widow has a sad story to tell and Ms. Akuno Budde was no exception until she came to True Vine Communion Ministries for All Nations. Overwhelmed with joy, she narrated how God changed her life story the moment she encountered Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso. Ms. Akuno explained that throughout her years in marriage, she was always the breadwinner for the family. Sadly though, her husband passed on living her in charge of a big family with limited source of income to manage it. Ms. Akuno expounded that having hit this dead end, she decided to venture in  business while in Juba but nothing worked out for she watched the  businesses drown like the infamous titanic.

Soaked in failure, disappointment and sadness she came to True Vine Communion Ministries for all Nations where she was prayed for by the Prophet of God. Ms. Akuno hardly forgot the very words the prophet used as he ministered to her saying, “you are growing old now mama but do not worry, God will use your children to take care of you now.” with this He gave her a sticker that read “You can make it to your miracle.” Little did she know that God had already labeled her sorrowful life with “Success”.

As Deuteronomy 18: 22 says, “If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.” Indeed Abraham Richard Bisaso is a true prophet from God for everything he prophesies comes to pass. Ms. Akuno testified to this; soon after the prayer, her son got a scholarship in the United Kingdom and at the eve of his graduation in 2016, she was privileged to board a plane to London to attend his graduation party. This was just a beginning because God was not yet done with her.

In December 2017, God reminded Ms. Akuno of the very words He spoke through His prophet, about her children taking care of her; true and redeeming is God’s word for it came to pass when her son miraculously constructed for her a house in her home village in Tororo district. With modesty, Ms. Akuno exclaimed, “The villagers keep on asking me where did a widow like you get money to build this big house.” But I tell them I am no longer a widow because the Lord is my husband. Indeed this is what prophet Isaiah meant in chapter 54:4-5, when he said the Lord is the husband to the widows. Glory and honour to the God of the prophets for his word is as permanent as the sky.
