SOWING, THE SOURCE OF MAN’S BREAKTHROUGH!

Under the authority of her father in the LORD Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso, Evangelist Nakirijja Sharon took position at the pulpit and led the house of believers in prayer.

Prayer: LORD, I surrender everything to you; have mercy upon me in the name of your Son Christ Jesus.

Thereafter, she led the house of believers in the Word of God as she cautioned them to have their Bibles, notebooks and pens at hand. Quoting the Prophet’s words Abraham Richard Bisaso, she started,

“Believers if you fear to give, then you fear to prosper. When we examine the Word of God as taught by the Prophet; the Spirit of God used men like you and me to write this Bible. And when you dig deep, our lives were written in the bible. Some of us have gone through what was written about us while others have not.

1Kings17:7-16 [NIV]: … ‘Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?’ 11As she was going to get it, he called, ‘And bring me, please, a piece of bread.’ 12 As surely as the LORD your God lives’ she replied, ‘I don’t have any bread –only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son that we may eat it –and die.

Believers, when we examine this scripture, the widow feared to prosper at first by fearing to share the little she had. When the LORD’s Prophet Elijah asked for some little water in a jar to drink and a piece of bread to eat, it was all they had left.

Even us today, we are like this widow, when called to sow, we say we do not have and others say they have little or nothing at all.

Nonetheless, when we read this whole scripture, the widow was not disappointed after obeying the Prophet’s request. Therefore, when the LORD instructs you to give, do it for you will never be disappointed.

In the land of Zarephath where the widow lived, there was drought but when she played her part, she received plenty while others did not have.

Why then would you wait to have in plenty to give? Begin with the little you possess and the LORD will multiply it. This widow’s situation teaches us that when we hear the voice of God, we should give because it may be the source of our breakthrough.

Unless we take an extra step like the widow who had little, we shall never prosper. This woman did not die after sharing the little she had with the Prophet. Believers, in the Kingdom of God, when you give with all your heart, the LORD accepts it and multiplies it. You may be this widow today, just play your part.

The only reason we fear to give to God is because we do not trust Him. Yet when you give to God, it becomes easier to run back to Him and request. Flash back the past three months; we cast out the evil spirit of poverty and the LORD delivered us. Let us now play our part of sowing so that He may be pleased and bless us the more.

Verse 17 to 24 when you mediate deeper, the widow requested for another miracle for her son but imagine if she had not played her part at first. Do you think the God of Elijah would heal her child? No! Therefore, this is a lesson to show us that God is concerned about us.

Taking some more deep insight in the bible, look at Job’s story, satan fought him because of his relationship with God; to an extent of asking to test him but failed. Job was so concerned about his God to an extent of making sin offerings whenever his children went for parties.

Malachi 3:8-11 [NIV]: 11‘I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,’ says the LORD Almighty. This scripture means that if we trust God with our offerings, He protects us. So, begin to sow for everything you have: marriage, calling, children, ministry etc.

Remember, sowing is a relationship with God just as salvation is personal. The widow risked her life by giving the little she had; let us also imitate her by risking for God so that He can prosper us. For we prosper at different levels depending on how we risk for God.

The principle of prosperity is in giving. Just take an extra step into the Word of God like this widow because we are in the season of sowing.

When the year 2022 was beginning, the LORD revealed to us and said this year is going to be tougher, but he that trusts God, will receive a way. And the only way to receive it is by depending on God and risking for Him.

Just take a step of faith and you will see the faithfulness of God. The only way to silent the evil one is by putting in action what you are instructed to do. I know you are afraid, but take courage God will make a way for you.”

Confess: God will make a way for me.
