WHAT YOUR NEIGHBOUR NEEDS IS ATTENTION!

“You are blessed believers wherever you are,”asserted Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso as he moved to the pulpit. He further added: “I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and Good Morning!

Today I will share a message from the gospel of Matthew because we are here for Eternal life. And I want to believe that your greatest desire is to go to Heaven because when we leave Earth without knowing Jesus, we will go to hell.

In all we are doing there is need to note that there is another life after this. The life we live today is full of battles. However, with the other, we rest in the joy and peace of Christ.

Therefore, as we share, I want to remind you of the Word of God in the gospel of Matthew 25:31-45: ‘When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.’

When you read this scripture, a question may arise: Why is the Holy Scripture calling Jesus the Son of man not the Son of God? It means in the son of man, there, lives  the Spirit of God. Verse 32says;

32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

This scripture has summarized the entire gospel; so, if your goal is Eternal life, then this message is yours. The Word of God has said it all. Among the many you are helping, in them there is an angel. He may look nasty but he is the angel of God.

Very many Christians think angels will come on their doors and knock. No! At times they don’t need to, but we are supposed to go to them. As you listen to this message, take some time off and go visit the needy. Offer them your time and in so doing, you will know what they need hence putting yourself in position to render help.

Take to note, giving is the only way to Eternal life and it is what you are missing despite your prayer and persistence. Love your neighbor and take care of those in need. This you are doing; you are taking care of Christ Jesus.

Imagine, if Jesus comes amidst us and sits here, truth be told,we shall see many rising up offering to do something unique from the usual for Him. Nonetheless, if a miserable poor man comes in our midst, many will by pass him like the story of the good Samaritan [Luke 10:25-37].

Believers, I want to inform you who is looking for Jesus, he is in the poor people. The more you are attached to and take good care of those around you, the more you are paving your way to heaven. Other than this, our prayers will fail if our love is not in increasing measure. We have sick people around us in our regions, prisons who need our attention.

Let us take more time praying for them other than ourselves, visiting and giving them what they need. With this message, may the LORD bless and help you do what is right.”
