“A Christian’s weapon.”

Under the instruction of his father in the Lord Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso and dressed in the Holy Spirit splendor, Minister Okoth Alfred took position at the pulpit and led the believers into the message of the day titled; “A Christian’s weapon.” With reference to 2Corithians 10:3-5; “for though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strong holds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets up itself against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  The minister broke down this message for believers saying that as Christians we do not wage war against the world or men of flesh but against evil principalities in the spiritual realm. In the same preordination, the weapons we use to fight are not forged by men; rather they are divine and only made by the mighty hand of God. These weapons include; confidence, love and faith among others. When a believer applies them then no evil will ever entangle him/her thus they will be saved; for having them is the password to over coming this coming season.

However, the sad news is that many Christians are fighting a spiritual enemy (satan) in a physical combat. He cited an example of someone being tormented by spiritual men but going to the hospital for medication which puts that individual in a very long and wrong predicament. The only solution for spiritual matters is to go in prayer and attack these evil spirits with the Holy Spirit’s weapons then you will be saved. Meaning what all Christians need to do in this new season is to have more faith, depend on the Lord and call upon him. If you use faith to call upon the Lord then you are depending on Him, He will save you with His mighty weapons and grant you victory.

Summing up this faith sharpening message Minister Okoth Alfred urged the believers to take heart, for nothing can prohibit them to receive from the Lord if they only focus to Him alone as their helper.

Prayer: Lord Holy Spirit, help me to overcome whatever situation that is coming this season with your weapons.
